Does My Dryer Vent Need Cleaning?

There are several indicators to look for that will help you to determine if your dryer vent is clogged with lint or in some cases blocked with a birds nest.

Warning Signs:

  • Increased drying time surpassing 35-40 minutes
  • The top of the dryer is hot to the touch while running
  • No lint visible on the lint screen
  • Excess lint left on your clothing
  • Clothes that are abnormally hot to the touch after drying
  • Dryer repeatedly shuts off during the drying cycle
  • Burning smell during the drying cycle
  • It’s been more then 6-12 months since your last dryer vent cleaning

What is Included?

The cleaning includes the entire length of the dryer vent, lint trap compartments, surrounding area, and all labor and materials..


How is the service performed?

We use dryer vents rods, brushes, an air whip, and a blower to thoroughly clean the dryer vents. We also use a CFM reader to ensure that the air flow is running at 100% to make sure that no lint or debris is left behind.


What is the cost?

We offer a free onsite estimate for cleaning. We price our dryer vent cleanings according to the approximate length of the vent & where it vents out to. This is something our technicians would estimate onsite. To give you an idea, the cleaning would range anywhere from $80-$150. If you choose to move forward with the service, the technicians will clean while they are there. If you choose not to move forward with cleaning, there are no fees for our visit.
