Why Air Duct Cleaning?

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that indoor air pollution is among the top five environmental health risks. Air duct cleaning is a great way to remove dirt, dust, dust mites, debris, pet dander, mold, and other harmful contaminates that may be sitting inside of your ducts. Cleaning your HVAC system may also provide relief to those whom suffer from allergies, asthma, or bronchitis. Better air quality is not the only benefit to having an air duct cleaning service. Your HVAC system will operate more smoothly and efficiently, which will result in lower energy bills and will expand the life expectancy on your furnace and air conditioning units.

HOW IS THE SERVICE PERFORMED?

Our cleaning process is as follows:

We are using a commercial grade 23HP HEPPA air duct cleaning vacuum that stays on the outside of the home. Attached to the vacuum is the collection bag and an 8 inch circular hose. Our technicians will run the hose into the home and connect it to the trunkline (main branch of system). This will put the entire system under a strong negative air pressure that will go throughout the entire cleaning. The technicians will then seal all the vents throughout the home. This will prevent any dirt/debris from entering the inside of the home. Our process is very clean. They will then work vent to vent using our agitation tools to do the cleaning. We have two different kinds of cleaning tools - The Hurricane Whip System and the Rotary Brush System. They have the same method of cleaning, which is that they will rotate inside the vents at 360 degrees, breaking down all of the dirt and contaminates inside of there. It then uses a positive air pressure to move the debris to the trunkline, where our vacuum hose is attached at. The dirt will then travel through the vacuum hose to the outside of the home, where our collection bag is located. This is the method used to thoroughly clean out the ventilation system. At the end of the service, we will then clean the main components inside of the furnace.
